Orpheus Chamber Orchestra Plans Concert in Bronxville
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The world-renowned Orpheus Chamber Orchestra will perform at The Reformed Church of Bronxville on Friday, March 17, in the church's Sanctuary.
The concert is dedicated to the memory of Emily McKnight Corry, a passionate lover of classical music, who was a member of The Reformed Church for 51 years until her death on May 21, 2016, and taught eighth-grade church school.

BRONXVILLE, N.Y -- Can't make it to New Orleans this year for Mardi Gras? Blue Moon Mexican Café is bringing some of that Fat Tuesday spirit to Bronxville, on Feb. 28 with special menu items inspired with a creole twist and a little jazz music.
Feast on Mexican Jambalaya, a combination of sausage, chicken and chorizo in a savory stew, or the Bayou Burrito, a giant burrito stuffed with shrimp, chorizo, creole sauce, rice and cheese. Blue Moon will also offer two different Cajun-inspired appetizers -- Crab Cakes and Sautéed Cajun Shrimp, along with its regular menu items.

Horticultural 'Crown Jewel' Set To Bloom In Somers' Lasdon Park
SOMERS, N.Y. – In just a few months, nature lovers will be able to visit a tropical rainforest, without having to travel to South America, Africa or Asia, said Ted Kozlowski, manager of the Lasdon Park and Arboretum in Somers.
Ten years – and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears – in the making, the park’s new Glass House Conservatory is set to open on Saturday, June 17.
Its first exhibit, titled “The Rainforest: Tropical Treasures,” will feature, not only exotic plants and flowers, but water features and the sounds of such jungle denizens as macaws, jaguars, and poison dart frogs.
